SMB I: Basic Protocol
The initial workshop introduces precision muscle testing and foundational balancing protocols for key structural support muscles.
Structural Muscular Balancing
Structural Muscular Balancing (SMB) is taught in two levels. SMB I provides the foundational training, while SMB II builds on those skills, expanding their application to additional regions of the body and encouraging practitioners to think “Outside the Box.”
The initial workshop introduces precision muscle testing and foundational balancing protocols for key structural support muscles.
SMB II builds on SMB I and extends assessment and intervention methods to shoulders, arms, legs, rib cage, and related structural regions.
Develop stronger assessment fluency across shoulder muscles, scalenes, elbow, wrist, knees, ankles, and feet.
Apply structured protocols for pectorals, deltoids, triceps, infraspinatus, supraspinatus, rib cage, sternum, clavicle, and scapula.
Integrate SMB into the way you already practice. Learn to use movement techniques to assess range of motion before and after applying the SMB protocol.
SMB provides a methodology for working smarter, not harder, supporting both effective treatment and practitioner longevity. Diana's 40-plus year career exemplifies this approach.
SMB instruction emphasizes anatomy-driven specificity, sensitivity to neuromuscular guarding patterns, and practical hands-on application that supports measurable changes in clinical outcomes.
